Liverpool's Sheyi Ojo eyed by Olympiacos and Brugge

26/08/21

Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo is reportedly subject to transfer interest from European sides Olympiacos and Club Brugge.

The former Cardiff City loanee enjoyed a good season in the Welsh capital last year, with Bluebirds chairman Mehmet Dalman confirming they would be open to taking him back if a loan opportunity arose again.

But it looks as though the 24-year-old is destined for a permanent move away from Merseyside this summer.

Greek outlet Sportime report that both Olympiacos and Brugge have made overtures to Liverpool over signing the player this summer, which would finally put paid to the idea of Cardiff going back in for him.

It is claimed that Olympiacos have checked in on Ojo through their connections at Nottingham Forest. Forest co-owner Vangelis Marinakis is also the owner of the Greek club.

After so many loans, taking in Wigan, Wolves, Fulham, Reims, Rangers and, of course, the Bluebirds, it appears Ojo could be set to find his new permanent home.
