" Real Madrid hope to conclude €180m deal "

Thu Aug 26, 2021 10:24 pm

Real Madrid are hoping to conclude a €180m deal for PSG's forward Kylian Mbappe. This is the same price that PSG paid Monaco for him four years ago.

Madrid have offered to pay €170m up front and the remaining €10m to be paid in add-ons.

Mbappe, 22, is out of contract next summer and has made it clear he won't sign a new contract.

The only club he wants to sign for is Real Madrid.

Negotiations are due to take place between the two clubs on Friday.

PSG have already signed Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos this summer. As well as losing Ramos, Real Madrid have also let go Raphael Varane to Manchester United and Martin Odegaard to Arsenal.

€1 billion in debt apparently, but all the top clubs have been in debt for years and still manage to pay huge fees.

I guess they've cleared a high amount off their wage bill by letting Ramos and Varane go.
