This is the 100th meeting between Cardiff City and Bristol City in all competitions, with the first coming all the way back in January 1915 in an FA Cup tie, won 2-0 by the Robins.


The away side has won each of the last four league meetings between Cardiff and Bristol City, with each victory coming with a clean sheet.


Cardiff have gone unbeaten in their last 10 league games (W4 D6), since losing 5-0 at Sheffield Wednesday in April.


Bristol City have only won once in their last 14 Championship fixtures (D4 L9), picking up a 3-2 win in their most recent away game at Reading.


Nigel Pearson has lost five of his seven away matches against Cardiff in all competitions (W1 D1) with his only win coming in the 2009-10 Championship play-offs with Leicester, winning 3-2.

For years the robins had the edge on us and since we beat them in the playoffs in 2003(?) we went on a very impressive run against them until the past few seasons where we have lost a few
