Wolves still in for a striker

30/08/21

Wolves are still in for a striker despite the arrival of RB Leipzig forward Hwang Hee-chan, according to reports.

The Molineux club were in the market for a front man ahead of Tuesday's transfer deadline, with Cardiff City's Kieffer Moore mentioned as a potential target.

But on Sunday, Wolves announced the season-long loan signing of the South Korea international from RB Leipzig, which appeared to have put paid to any interest in signing Kieffer Moore.

However, Sun journalist Alan Nixon believes the Midlands outfit are still in for a centre forward before the window shuts.

It could mean that Cardiff are not out of the woods just yet when it comes to Moore, should it transpire that Bruno Lage does want to bolster his forward line further.
