WHAT MICK McCARTHY EXPECTS TODAY ON THE FINAL DAY OF TRANSFE

Tue Aug 31, 2021 10:55 am

What Mick McCarthy expects in the final transfers today

The Bluebirds manager was expecting - or hoping - for a quiet end to the transfer window.

MICK McCARTHY:

“I got our four incomings early in the window and are more than happy our squad.”

“We have a big enough squad, with plenty of back up in all positions.”

"I don't expect any ins coming in," McCarthy said. "I'm hoping I don't have any outs.”

"We are all talking about Kieffer Moore, without mentioning him.”

"As far as I'm concerned, there's nothing happening."

Mick McCarthy’s 4 early signings he is very happy with:

July 1st 2021 :bluebird:

Ryan Giles season long transfer from Wolves :thumbright: :thumbright: ( Without doubt the best one, but once again not our player come end of season).

Ryan Wintle free transfer from Crawley Town, with in less than 2 months sent out on loan to Blackpool season long loan.

Mark McGuinness was released by Arsenal at the end of last season after making no first team appearances for the Gunners, was a free agent.

James Collins was a free agent, previous club Luton Town.

It's up to him now to get the results.

Brought in some good signings, now it's the results that matter.

Like you say Annis, he says he is happy with his squad so he needs to deliver.

I agree Ned, he has said it time and time again, he is happy with our squad and stated all more positions fully backed up.

Now it’s all down to Mick getting the results and at least play -offs :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

If he is happy with his squad then I hope he doesn't go on about lack of quality in it every time we don't win a football match.
Up to him now,his squad so he should know their capabilities and strengths and weakness.
Let's see where we are at Xmas and support the team every game.
Come on City.
