HT: 1-0

We started alright and hit the bar but Forest have got better as the half went on and deserve their lead.

Collins huffing and puffing but not doing much.

Vaulks is struggling and Ng's defensive problems are being exposed.

Bagan has been decent, getting forward wherever possible and putting crosses in.

Ipswich warned us what life would be like under MM. it was never going to be exciting. A likely record of 2 wins 2 draws and 2 defeats from the first 6 is poor considering the teams we have faced

Have we scored a goal in the first half in the league this season? I'm struggling to remember one.

You must be watching a different game when it comes to wing backs, Bagan has been getting forward a lot.

We haven't played well though.

We have played 6 of the leagues worst to average sides and have come out of it poorly who can disagree?

As poor a city team in many a year. No pace no creativity no movement no clue.
Still for all that unlucky to be losing

We are terrible in open play conceding poor goals and creating nothing

We will be lucky to finish mid table this year

Worst half of football from us this season. Perhaps not a surprise given the line up but the basics of winning the second ball and passing to a blue shirt are also missing. Very poor. There is still a point to win here as Forest are not great but McCarthy has to put Moore on now. Dithering until 60 minutes is pointless and we run the risk of going two down. The ball has to stick up front better. God we miss Giles too.

We look one dimensional I am afraid,I am starting to think we only have one game plan, oppenents will know this and work a way around it.
Come on City.

No 'Wow!' about it! ;)

Anyone who only ever deliberately looks to state the negative is no 'supporter' of any club

I've said before, you are truly an embarrassment to yourself and this Forum and having Negative Rhys to back you up is nothing to shout about. He's not got much good to say either...

Tell me/us, if we are wrong but isn't the idea of following your team to 'support' in the positive; particularly before a ball has been kicked?

No one is saying there are no negatives (even Man City have those) but so constant over so long a prriod without ever a positive tells us you are no 'supporter' of Cardiff City FC

Maybe another club ( ;) ) but certainly not ours... :(

Nothing much between the teams. We are very unlucky to be behind at HT.
That said…..City lack creativity in midfield and very little pace throughout the team. The result has been one dimensional football and not very enjoyable to watch. (Especially if we are losing!).
What baffles me is that Pack seems to be our number one midfielder in big Micks eyes! Its easy to play sideways and backwards and pass responsibility to someone else to make things happen. Then (on this forum) anyone that tries to go forward but makes a mistake will get slaughtered. :banghead:

Vaulks tries to shoot from a wide free kick but it's straight at Samba and a waste of an opportunity.

Great substitution, as Mick McCarthy sends on the big guns to shoot the Forest down :notworthy:

Sorry if this is too positive for some; but the real supporters will be pleased, as City are now on top...
