These figures don't look right unless they include Sala which is misleading not say a bit distasteful.

We lost a lot on Glatzel, Madine and Cunningham but this was partly compensated by the profits on Zahore and Etheridge. Most of the other big money signings are either still with us-Murphy- or we got our money back e.g Reid.

Have i missed some obvious ones. Be interesting to see the breakdown.

The article states that the time period is 5 years (or as quoted 'the past half-decade') so it would cover the period 2016 to 2021. Therefore it would include the Sala transfer.

Again the OP is being misleading by not giving full disclosure.

If the £15m for Sala was excluded on exceptional (& moral) grounds our loss would be reduced to £4.87m and place us comfortably in the middle of that table.

That said it is fair to say we have made some awful purchases over that period 3 of which are quoted by you above.

The period covered was 2016-2021 (half-decade as quoted) so it would cover our Premiership season in 2018/19.

Of course you are correct. Even the accounts don't give you a clear picture but unfortunately that's what the club is judged by for S&P/FFP. But as you state it make for good debate but it would help if full disclosure was made.

This is typical example hull brought in far more players than other clubs do you would expect to have bigger deficit ...while Luton who were not in championship for several of years mentioned got over 2000% profitability because they dont spend big same can be said of other clubs yes we are one of worst clubs for wasting money cannot deny that ... but like said take with pinch salt as other factors may not
be included ..
