Lost the home game 0-2 a few days later in front of a decent crowd. Showers missed the games because of injury.
Dwyer, Kellock, Impey, Brian Rees, McInch, Couch, Nigel Rees and Showers all plays 1st team for us, only Dwyer and Showers became regulars though. Plus Kellock who had a season and a bit in the 1st team before being sold to Norwich for £25k.

Those of a certain age will recognise some decent names in there, especially club legend Phil Dwyer. Billy Kellock and Nigel Rees decent too, then McInch, Couch and Impey were ok.

Billy Kellogg also had a good career making a total of 298 appearances mostly for Peterborough 134 but only 35 for us. Biggest disappointment for me was Bridgend boy Nigel Rees who looked a world beater when playing against Real Madrid but only managed 27 games for us before going back to play for Bridgend.
