1=What was the average age of our boys no doubt in my mind there were 16yr olds playing
2=results are not the be all and end all (craig bellamys thinking when he was here )
3=the teams league status means naff all (our under 8s smashed liverpools under 8s)
Most of our 18 yr olds are now playing at our under23s
Pretty much.all our accademy players play above there age
Stop knocking the club every chance you get
And this post give no details what so ever ?

Those that follow all our age groups know what’s going on.
We were playing a league two team( Div 4)

I look every week and both clubs that are playing play the same type of ages.

We are doing well in the U23’s and results do matter as everyone is raving about them.
Results can improve confidence and tell you where you are.

This years results are not good and it’s not against good opposition.

Its not just this years results
Though is it weve been playing under age
Kids for the last couple of years
The lads who are knocking on the door of the first
Team were not winning as under 18s fact
Its all aimed at getting the kids ready for
Competative football at under 23 level

Look at this years under 23s
4 from four so far
But they were not winning regularly at under 18s
The accademy know what its doing
And its paying.off

It is a good ploy to play younger players at an older age group ? It helps them build up for when they play same age group at u23 which is the important age group for getting into 1st team squad..... it's rare to get a 16/17 yr old get into 1st team squad anywhere .....if they do its because they are an exceptional talent not because of being in under 18 team as helped them improve.

As i suggested
Accademy players are exactly that
Wether its cardiff or crewe or chelsea
One years crop of 10 11 14 15 yr old can
Better than the next years crop
Dario grady at crewe is generally thought.of as a maestro
At getting kids to perform and maintain a good level
And crewe were not a top division club
As i say stop being so negative with.our under 18s of this season
