Incomings
Giles - very much so
McGuiness - very much so
Wintle - no idea why he’s been sent out but we can have him bank in jan if needed.
Collins - dreadful.

No, Allan, they don't...

That's the misperception the OP would like you to believe. He doesn't speak from any position of factual knowledge but from his own entrenched opinion

Something happened over the latter part of the summer to put a sudden 'stop' on all things financial and until we here from the man at the top, we won't know why exactly that was

Some think FFP, some think VT's slow withdrawal ahead of sale, others think it's bloody-mindedness

It will come out in the wash via the accounts, an official club statement or some other informed source

Time will tell on all counts but I feel sure VT is not currently a happy bunny with regard to our state of affairs on the field and the impact it could have on his investment; particularly if he wants to move us on at some point

Chris was being phesicious because
lately threads been taken over by blaming board for everything..... tbh successive managers have fcked up players wise none have bought with future in mind so costing club many millions in waste and this season really as brought it home because of covid here and with tabs buisnesses.... like you say sure some idea the cost of covid will come out in future

 You don't really believe that the board knows what they needed to do?

Absolutely awful one and we are paying for it now.

But Clown Mick, said totally otherwise .

As the Committee pulled his strings

Of course they know what’s needed financially. There is no budget.

Don’t be an idiot all your life, take a day off now and again.

I'm not getting all the love for Giles. Needs to practice crossing the ball at least another 10,000 times

That sums it up for me. Don't think anyone could have predicted Collins would have been so useless at scoring goals he might still come good he might turn out to be Madine mark two. Wintle is an odd one good player but a bit of a baffling signing as he is so similar to what we have.

Overall jury still out bearing in mind we paid no transfer fee.

Do you know anything about finance??? What am I saying, as you obviously don't.

I'll try and help you.

A budget is a forecast of the income and expenditure for a period, so if you play horrible football to watch and you keep losing, many supporters just drift away and you have less income, and if you end up getting relegated then you have a hell of a lot less. So the board really needs to make sure that the team are good enough to keep the income coming in from the supporters and not get relegated, or your budget isn't worth the paper it's written on!
