That's not good but it's the same anywhere, including the UK post-Covid, as people in business profiteer from a relatively captive audience in order to claw back some of the money they feel they lost over the last 18 months

Our own stadium isn't exactly cheap and a guy near me paid around £9.60 for a hot dog, a coke and a Mars bar

A recent trip to the Lake District saw prices for a pint at around £8

Equally, anyone trying to book a long-haul flight/holiday right now is seeing prices double and more with BA being the worst

It's all going unchecked but I guess if people pay it, then they will carry on

Don't have to go as far as Estonia to see ripoff beer prices.

Its not just beer is it. Booked a taxi airport into Prague on Thursday for £ 20. Didn't book a return as I wasn;'t sure where I'd be. £ 60 the b*stard charged us. Unfortunately tourists are seen as fair game and authorities every where turn a blind eye to it.

Nothing new.

Went to St Mark's Square in Venice as a kid about 60 years ago and the prices for basic food and drink for lunch were crazy, but my parents noticed some Italian workers going off the square into the back streets literally 50 or 60 yards away and there were unmarked courtyards with tables. So we followed them in and sat down with them and had a brilliant meal for a fraction of the cost just yards away from the Square.

Ripping off visitors has been around for a long time! :old:
