We can go out to packed clubs, pubs and events and not wear masks at the moment, but if Drakeford attends a very small Diwali celebration he's a c**t and the biggest tw*t in politics :laughing5:

Plenty of things we should be angry about in terms of UK politicians at the moment, but I personally cannot see how this video is one of them.

Ned with boris you know what he is with? drakeford he pretends to be something hes not and that's a politician......boris is a poor leader but drakeford pretends to be the great leader when in fact he just follows behind everyone eventually and then makes out hes leading the way? Drakeford suppose to help constituents but in fact does the opposite.. horrible little man..

Drakeford is terrible but a million times better than Johnson.

It shows what a terrible state politics is when we have to compare leaders by not how good they are, but who is the least damaging / poor.

No chance Boris is trying to keep things open and the economy moving, Drakeford has ruined the welsh economy, Health Service, Education and the road networks, he locks down at the drop of a hat and keeps us locked down longer!

That video looks no different to any number of night clubs up and down the country any night of the week. When are the videos of nightclubs with no SD and Masks gonna start causing offence and sensationalism? Non story being reported to cause a stir, if he wasn't a politician or in the position he is noone would give two fucks

The difference being that

1- you have to have a vaccine passport to get into a nightclub.
2- He isn't any other person. He is the one making the rules.

It’s the hypocrisy, he should practice what he preaches. He really is damaging the Welsh economy, a typical Leftwing extremist who wraps himself in idiotic failed political dogma, unable to formulate a pragmatic thought in his stuck in the 70s nut.

How do you know they weren't checking Covid passports for this event? If that's the rule and they followed that then wheres the issue?

Don't get me wrong I'm not a massive fan of any politician but this video shows nothing of the back story. If it came to light that no precautions were taken and they were all just having a massive jolly then I would be as angry as everyone else. This video doesn't show anything other than what you would see in a club

I don't think Drakeford is the type of person to go to a nightclub-though you never know he might be a dark horse- so its probably a private do in which covid a pass is not required. But whatever it is, he is hardly showing an example at a time when he keeps telling us to be careful. At a time when i am required by law to wear a mask to enter an empty shop i find it a little hypocritical.

And that is the exact point Jestrix - we are all hypocrites but as he IS in a position of authority he should lead by example and not "do as I say, not as I do" !!!

The real story should be how a bungling clot like Nutford ever rose above opening the church fete.. High rewards for first class buffoonery it seems.

Drakeford comes across as a failed teacher and a social worker.........wait.....maybe that is what he really is.

I see him almost on a daily basis - the man is the equivalent of tramp and rugby club chairman from the 1970's that still lives with his mum

Because they've voted labour all their lives and cannot see past that.... now labour are are sucking up to any cause to be popular like the environmental lobby by making motorists and communities suffer by stopping rds being built that alleviate congestion or cut them off from rest of county as in case where I live... its seen as a way to win votes from the population in general.

This event was held in Cardiff University.
Drakeford has given every small bit of livery back over the past year through clenched teeth. If our NHS was not such an absolute mess we could cope with a bit more Covid circulating. But the NHS is in crisis, was before Covid, and can't cope with what's going on. Drakeford has dictated much of the population still working from home and we have a situation where most are expected to take work place precautions whilst others Drakeford is allowing to continue to work from him. This is everyone in Welsh government and the local authorities who don't wear boots and a high viz jacket.

If Drakeford willingly sends his disciples back to work in their offices then he can dance around maskless as much as he likes.

The most important words are "was before covid" ie the nhs has been in a terrible mess for a long time, every winter the same headlines, of nhs not coping, no beds, patients being turned away etc etc, the sad reality that has been that covid has served to show us how poor a state the nhs is in,ie, the fact that covid has been the straw to brak the camels back, literally!!

You dont have to look far, to find the headlines just before covid came, and it's a sad read, of how we were in crisis nhs wise then, and every winter for ten yrs and more previously! But what do the government blame? Hmmmmmm not themselves, but covid being the reason, not severe cut backs, drop in funding etc??

And in the case of our govt here, what can't be blamed on covid, they attempt to blame on westminster.
