Poya Asbaghi officially joined Barnsley Football Club on Wednesday as new manager

Born in Karaj – just outside of the Iranian capital, Tehran – in July 1985, he was only one-year-old when his family fled the country because of political persecution.

I think those two names are going to be bandied about for every job that comes around right now :roll:

How any club will seriously look at Mick McCarthy (once but not now a decent manager) is beyond me and if even some of the Mike Flynn stuff is to be believed, he is going to struggle to get a gig any bettter than the one he recently left :(
