Tom Sang fit back in contention

Tom Sang appears to be back in contention for selection, with his toe injury not having suffered any new flare-ups.

The right back has been out of action since September 18 after the toe he had an operation on started to trouble him.

Many have called for him to be back in the side given the consistency of his performances since muscling his way in at the start of this year, however Perry Ng will have something to say about that, no doubt.

Kieron Evans will likely be fit for the trip to Preston despite sustaining an injury while away with Wales, however Sam Bowen, who is still struggling with a foot issue, is still absent.

"Tom Sang is back in training," Steve Morison said. "We have had no reaction yet.

"Sam Bowen is still not in training and Kieron got injured while away with Wales under-21s.

"He wasn't injured before that, I just left him out of the squad for Isaak [Davies]. He has hurt his quad training for Wales under-21s, but we are hoping he'll be alright for Saturday."
