Russell Slade has been spotted in Manchester, do you think he would take it or is it too much of a poisoned chalice ? going after Ole again

He is doing a great job i personally hope they keep him.
How anyone can think he is a good manager is beyond me, he messed us up for a long time with all his useless signings, costing us a lot of money having to pay players contracts up

It's either him or Mike Flynn (the bookies 'shoe-in') ;)

Do they not have to announce it to the NYSE first ?

I have no doubt he has already signed all the NDA's and is out already.

My bet would be Laurent Blanc as interim manager until the end of the season.

Yes - Radio 2 at noon led with this “world shattering news”

In that case, I agree, it's shocking but shows how the 'Beeb' pander to the (so called) popular culture of the day :(

I honestly believe Sky's 'hounding' of managers 'under pressure' forces a lot of 'sackings' too

They've done it to a few that might have been given 'more time' now; but I don't include OGS in that group, as he has been given more than an opportunity

As we found out here, he just doesn't have 'it' as a manager
