Another dicey moment there, this time from Ng. He has a clearance closed down and Cornick is through on goal and forces an excellent save from Smithies, but the official flags for offside

Colwill with a couple of lovely stepoevers in the corner and wins a throw. Pack loads up to launch...

For me one of our best players Rubin Colwill :bluebird:

Moore meets another Giles cross, but again cannot get enough on it. Cardiff look dangerous down the left.

Ng smacks one from 35 yards. The wind helps it, but it flies just wide.

Another pinpoint cross from Giles to Moore, who looks to cushion it to Collins in the box, but it's just cleared by the Hatters defence.

City allowing Luton a little more possession and getting bossed around a little with ball being too easily given away

Smithies on top of his game though and holding Luton at bay with no real efforts on his goal

A ball over the top is trapped well by Adebayo and he looks to be through on goal, but decides to go down after feeling contact from Morrison.

Strange decision, he could have scored himself! Free-kick 20 yards out, Morrison in the book.

Free kick to Luton after Morrison takes a booking for bringing a Luton player down just outside he 'D' (not his error)

Thankfully, a wasted effort from the Luton man, Naismith

Good to be ahead, good to score a first half goal. Still feels embarrassing saying that 20 games in.

We really need to hang on for the three points now with Hull and Reading winning, and both Barnsley and Peterborough sharing the poi rd at the moment.

Giles crosses well again and Sluga can only palm into the box, but Collins cannot connect with his effort and it's gathered. Luton break and win a corner at the other end.

After a decent start and (finally) a first-half goal to complement that from Colwill, City allowed Luton came back into the game and lost their 'shape' for a while

Thankfully, to this point, Luton haven't really threatened the City goal and Alex Smithies has looked sound

Time for Steve Morison to remind the players of the brief and set them uo for the second half

Overall, we have to be happy at this point in the game and it might have been better again had Sean Morrison converted a late first-half opportunity :D
