Max Watters has been recalled from his loan spell at MK Dons, but won't be back in action until after City's FA Cup clash with Preston North End.


Sam Bowen and Tom Sang are still doubts, while Isaac Vassell remains a long-term absentee.

Lets be honest here - Im all for keeping da faith , never say die and all that stuff. But the stark reality of it is this :-

We dont appear to have all the players we need to get the performance required.
We dont appear to have the mindset to go and grind out a result - we leak more goals than a sunday league under 11 girls team.
And we certainly dont have what it takes to out think and fight West Brom at their place.

The hardest job is that of the manager trying to convince the players that the above statement isnt true.
Lets blindly hope our New Year turns out better than this year. We are going to be in a relegation scrap for the rest of the season it seems.

Where do you get we are better than Derby from? If Derby had not been deducted 21 points they would be 9 points ahead of us and not even thinking about relegation.

Realistically. A loss.

But we have to get a break soon. A lucky deflection, a red to them, a dodgy pen! All seems to be going against us this season.
