3 centre halfs all stoppers
2 defensive midfielders
1 full back pretending to be a wingback
A lad i doubt is going to make it at LWB

Its so negative

I say this every bloody game. And he makes the usual change. One of the CBs off. A more attacking player on. We'll look more balanced and play better now (fingers crossed) and yet next game he'll go back to the 3CBs and 2 holders!! Front foot football. Its no wonder we concede so many it's like attack vs defence sometimes!

At least its nice to see Wintle on …. But would have preferred him to replace Pack. When we have Pack and Collins thru the middle we look pretty dreadful!

Ryan Wintle on for Rubin Colwill

Bagan fires the ball over the bar after working a cross.

I think it was a cross. Maybe it was a shot, I dunno.

The whole game has gone drab; but we are still in it and some of our build up play is good before a poor final ball

Intersting to note five subs allowed in this year's FA Cup

We are SO crying out for a midfielder who can play a bit. PLEEEEASE! It's better than under Mad Mick but not much. :banghead:

Ryan Lowe makes a double change with Ben Whiteman and Josh Harrop on for North End.

City having goid possession but doing nothing about it, thanks to some poor end balls and/or decision making (Brown being the latest)

Either side can win this but extra time looms fast

It looks like the paints not dry yet…. another 30 mins!!  :bluebird:
What a poor game!
By the way nice to see Wintle running around in midfield- thats a positivecompared to Pack! Also it has been clear today that Davies’ attitude has been good. Hes worked hard and looked the only threat upfront

Extra time looms...

Both sides had their chances and equally wasteful

Crowd noise at the same levels as usual for the CCS and Preston should consider changing their name to 'Preston Off Side FC' :laughing6:

Blimey we are dire ... and so are Preston. Two poor teams.
Agree about the 5 at the back ... pointless. If our 'back five (lol!) could play a bit then fair enough. But they are not comfortable enough on the ball. As for Nelson, I've been watching his positional play & (cough!) 'passing'. Not even parks material, sorry.
Cmon, let's at least nick this in ET. :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

He's impressed; his work rate is phenonemal and made even harder by those around him

Switched over to the West Ham Leeds game waiting for this game to restart and saw more goalmouth action in the four minutes than in the entire second half of our game. Great to have crowd too.

Two very poor teams.

Our young players just aren't good enough.

If anyone wins this in extra time, it's Preston.

Slightly off the topic of the football, but anyone who’s watching on S4C can you hear a random whistle every now and again? It sounds exactly like the referee’s whistle.

I actually see the same,

Dire, boring game

Ned,

Many of these younger players are for me League 1 and 2 players

Great move from City and shot ftom Mark Harris, which is saved to a corner

Pack is replaced by Tom Sang before the corner, which is beaten away by the Preston defence

Yes. It's very annoying.
