Wez,

That’s because they sold him last season, he thought he was gone.

Who do you replace him with James Collins 1 goal 26 appearances?

We are struggling to stay in the Championship as it is.

We are going to struggle with or without him. We may as well let him go and use the money to bring in someone. That's if it is the intention of the club to use the money for that.

Yes sell our best player in a relegation scrap, genius!

Well he is not performing like our best player. Infact he is not manging to get on the pitch. Its better a few million in the banks to get a couple of players in than nothing from him atm.

He's performing like our best striker, because he is. You're also assuming we would reinvest that money. If we sold him then getting the right players in Jan at the right price is extremely difficult.
He will also hold the same value (more if he has a good 2nd half of the season) in the summer.

Claims that he's not working hard are totally unfounded and he's 'supported' by players with no pace or creativity.

STEVE MORISON YESTERDAY:

Kieffer Moore

"He's always going to have interest," he replied. "He's a really good player. But he's out. He's injured. He needs to concentrate on just getting fit.

"If someone rings me up and tells me something different, we just carry on and we go from there.

"If you've got interest in your players, it's because you're doing something right.

"If someone scores 20 goals in the Championship, he's going to get interest. He's a really good player and he's Wales' number nine.”

“Who would not be interested in a striker like Kieffer who is probably one of the best strikers in the Championship.”

it depends, if Morison is allowed to use atleast the freed up wages to sign a few loans or free transfers, accept. he wont score with this midfield, his value will deteriorate further.

This may be a very unrealistic idea but I’d be happy to see a cash plus Chris Mepham deal? Morrison and flint may be gone next season and as long as we could get a decent striker in also
