Agree with your view on the game but the regarding the penalty incident the ref gave a free kick for a push in the back on Nelson before the handball.

I just watched:

PNE done out of a penalty there in the final minute. Curtis Nelson clear handball in the box.

Free kick was given for push on Nelson that pushed him into the ball. I think Nelson made the most of it but it was a nudge !!

Must admit I think penalties were the only way Preston were going to score, at least both our goals were in open play.
