Clarke-Harris 'drawing interest' from Cardiff, But Cardiff would have to sell Kieffer Moore first

Peterborough are open to selling Jonson Clarke-Harris this month, with Cardiff City, Bristol City and Huddersfield Town all reported as potential suitors.

Mick McCarthy was a big admirer of the Posh striker, who has scored 37 goals in 68 games since moving to Peterborough, however it remains to be seen whether the current regime harbours the same interest.

It appears highly unlikely, though, given the player is likely to command a transfer fee of a few million and Cardiff have no cash to spend this month.

But BristolLive report that the trio of Championship clubs have "varying degrees of interest" in the striker, with Posh said to be open to allowing him to leave this month.

One suspects the only way Cardiff could even entertain tabling an offer is if Kieffer Moore is sold this month, with Steve Morison having confirmed that the Bluebirds are, at present, targeting only loans.

Any sale would see Clarke-Harris' former club, Bristol Rovers, net 20 percent of the profit, according to our colleagues across the Severn.

He has scored four goals in 19 Championship appearances this term
