I know I made a mistake by using the word hindrance, that’s what everyone is focusing on. I get that.

The reality was he wasn’t good enough for that half an hour and we then went through why. Then we went through the West Brom stuff and there were moments in that where we needed to be better and we showed that.

I get that all I did was repeat what I said to him in the dressing room.

I think that man management is a big part of managing a football club, some remarks need to be kept in the changing room and the training centre. I thought SM was out of order having a public pop at the lad.

I said as much at the time, keep it in house I believe.I hope he learns from it, as it's not good man management otherwise
