“ £50,000 Cost to Bluebirds “

Mon Jan 24, 2022 7:48 am

The Bluebirds offer to cover the costs after supporters damage toilets at Bristol City's stadium.

Cardiff City could be met with a bill of up to £50,000 after mindless idiots caused havoc and completely wrecked Ashton Gates mens toliets from top to bottom.

But its not always like minded people though is it - innocent people get caught up in it as well as their property ie cars houses shops etc

If like minded people want to fight then do what the Eastern Europeans do and find some waste ground somewhere and kick as many as shades of brown out of each as you like and then cram up the already crowded NHS at the same time which I am sure they would all appreciate as they are sitting around doing nothing all day

As for costing our club then what is the cost to our reputation, police bills, insurance etc when we have fans condoning violence at football matches?

Have a fight? Thats not how we were all brought up Annis, any action, whether mindless vandalism, or acts of physical violence against others, reflects back on the club, and ultimately those of us who just go to watch and support our club, with the consequences felt by us all, through needless costs such as this, and reports of fighting, likely to re start bubble trips!!
Imho, acts of a few mindless morons, tarnishes the reputation of us all as cardiff city fans.

Toilet Bandits; We've got enough problems without these morons creating more. The powers that be must be able to identify some of these brave little soldiers. Let's get some pictures up on the walls by the Forest game, name and shame them and ban them for life. No mercy. We've been down this road before.

£50k for a few meters of suspended ceiling? The contractor will be rubbing his hands at a blank cheque for the repairs

It was a bit more than that, fella; and the repairs are actually pretty much a complete refurbishment...

Sort of doesn't matter what condition they were in before, the idiots who caused the damage created to situation where it now has to be sorted and paid for...sadly by our club and not the actual perpertrators

Should charge us 250k at least bunch of idiots until it’s dealt with will continue. I hear riot police will be in toilets at Liverpool ready for anything similar. Hope they bash the buggers when they are in there.

We know it won’t happen because these so called supporters do it when no ones looking and film it to prove it. What a poor club of supporters we’ve become.

Clearly you are labelling yourself as a poor supporter also or is it just something for you to write? The majority of away supporters are extremely well behaved and cause no problems at all at away games with many praised for their behaviour both in pubs and around the grounds as well as in it but do not let that deter you from saying what a poor club of supporters we are

Well we are not being praised now it’s quite the opposite.

Both friends and family are asking me what’s going on.

This type of thing reflects on all of us even the majority and if as they say “the cap fits” we all get tarnished :banghead:
