Have 10 points deducted.
Sell off all our players and possibly get relegated.
Ridsdale, Sam H and Dave Jones would lose out big time financialy, but as fans we would be starting again possibly still in the Championship. Perhaps we would be in a better position to be bought if we were in Administration with no hidden agenders.
Perhaps someone with more financial knowledge may be able to answer this.
any opinions on this

A clean slate and administration now, but no hope of Premiership football next season, which we currently have. If we decided to go into administration at the beginning of next season, we could be in the Premiership and have 10 points deducted, but, if we are still in the championship next season and go into administration then, it might (and it's a big might) be easier to claw back the 10 points than it will in the higher division.

Definatly NO, ten points minimum, could be a lot more. knowing our luck we would end up back in the 'dungeon'.

Unless we have the so called takeover, that is where we will be...whether it be next season or 2 or 3....

Administration is never good. I firmly believe come May we will look back on this and laugh as we storm into the promised land of the Premiership!

Thinking that myself....
If we are as bad has been made out it may be better to go into admin and lose our best players to clear the debt. However the pigs who are currently feeding at the trough, that is our club, would not allow it just as long as there is money to be made. Its just us poor fans that suffer and see our club dragged through the shit week after week.

Im starting to think that admin would be a better option if we dont look like we are going to go up this year, even if we made play-offs its still a gamble. Then hopefully we would be safe, even with any penalty enforced against us, shedding the debt and starting afresh next season. However, the pigs who know where their bread is buttered (Riddler, DJ, Rugby boys etc) will not allow this to happen as 1. It will wreck Riddlers career, after his already bad rep at leeds + 2. all the investors will lose a lot of money.
Basically the boys with the power will lose a lot, so they will use their power to stop it, possibly resulting in the liquadation of cardiff city in the worst possible scenario

Administration is not the quick, easy fix that many people seem to think it is.
The effects such as difficulty obtaining credit (e.g. phased transfer fee payments), etc. can be long lasting and make life very difficult for any business to operate efficiently.
Yes, it would reduce our outstanding liabilities but the problems aren't solved in one hit. We really need to hope that administration does not happen because we wpuld feel the effects for years afterwards, just look at Southampton, etc.

Steve Borley would be hit very hard by administration wouldn't he?
Also what about those who paid up front for next years season ticket, would they become creditors? If so and the deal was 10p in the pound then my £329 would become £32.90. Would I have to pay another £296.10 to cover the cost for next season?
If that was the case how would everyone feel then about going into administration then?

The simple answer is: NO!
