Would be open to a return

Wales star Dylan Levitt has suggested he would be open to a return to Dundee United this summer amid links with Cardiff City.

Reports from Glen Williams have suggested the Manchester United midfielder is one of several players on the radar in the Welsh capital, ahead of what promises to be a busy summer. Levitt has become something of a fans' favourite at Tannadice on the back of a reasonably successful loan spell, and his future is very much up in the air given his contract at Old Trafford is up this summer and he is being released.

Quizzed on a possible return to Scotland, the 21-year-old said a decision on his next move would likely be made in the next couple of weeks or so.

“It would be good to come back here but I’ll have to see what happens next season with the talks and stuff," he told the Scotsman. “The talks should be in the next couple of weeks but I haven't heard anything yet. I think in the next two or three weeks they have to say or contact me.”
