‘ James Collins ‘

Wed May 11, 2022 11:12 am

Cardiff City are open to offers for striker James Collins, Collins is not in Morison’s plans.

Total failure in my opinion and yet I was slammed when I said from day one what Luton fans had said they had his best days and looked to get better .

Bristol Rovers & Lincoln are interested:

I would hope they would let him go for nothing if he gets an offer of a contract.

This was a typical McCarthy signing.

His career stats looked OK but those stats didn't actually cover lack of pace or the number of chances he needed to score a goal.

However, unlike some other historical signings, he did put in plenty of effort and he was cheap. He was simply past his best.

Interestingly for fans of Nathan Jones, he made it clear that Collins leaving Luton was very much Collins choice. Pretty much sums up my views on Luton's style of play

Luton made the play offs without him too.
