Cardiff City are not in talks to sign Derby County goalkeeper Ryan Allsop, despite the usual rumour mill from unknown names on Twitter.
The Bluebirds took an interest in the player when they were lining up a replacement for Alex Smithies. The Rams shot stopper drawn up on a short list in recent months, wages were quite high.
Allsop is wanted by many Championship teams, but recently pledged his allegiance to the Pride Park outfit last month. Speaking to the BBC, he said: “I’ve loved my time here and I don’t want that to end,” adding that he "hopes to get something sorted in the summer".

Derby keeper Ryan Allsop will be confirmed as a Cardiff City player tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon on a free transfer.
