How many season tickets will be returned?

If Bale doesn't sign for us?

There seems to be a big uptake in season tickets and it must be from the stories about Bale joining us. Seats around me that have been empty for years are now taken.

They might get returned but they won't get their money back unless there is another COVID outbreak,
so the club won't worry too much about that I wouldn't have thought

Probably because it was rhe first day on general sale at early bird prices and fans getting in early to get the seats they want.

No season ticket return for me won't be getting one nearly £60 on fuel for every home game just to much will pick games like a lot do.

It does indeed

Beyond that, it's probably a mix of things from the above and so long as people (where they can) are committing to next season, then all the better

Gareth Bale may or may not arrive but I think most are increasingly 'expectant' of it occurring

Steve Morison (and those involved with recruitment) have been both vigorous and dynamic with early signings with lots more to come

With the biggest 'clear out' for many a year, the club have a golden opportunity to reset, refocus and reignite

Only time will tell; but the view from here suggests some smart acquisitions, who are hungry and focussed to do well

Looking forward to next season with both interest and positivity now and it seems more and more attending supporters are feeling the same :ayatollah:

Monty, that's a genuine shame and I sincerely hope the situation (fuel pruces, etc.) change for you once the global situation changes for the better :ayatollah:

They'll have no right to return them surely.

You can't return a season ticket because we didn't sign a certain player, be that Gareth Bale or Gary Madine.

You buy a season ticket to support the team not because we've been linked with a star player. That's the case for me anyway.

As others have said, last couple of days have been the earliest opportunity for some to buy due to the prices and wanting a good seat.

I was 2 of that 1000. Moved closer to a few friends who returned to the Ninian and it was a different credit card period.

I doubt Bale will come here, but its a dream

Probably more related to the ticket office opening again. If Bale does sign, expect a large swell of purchases. :bluescarf:

Sort of correct about being called plastic but if sales are lower economy and cost living wont be seen as excuse for lower sales.. yet it is acceptable in other areas like entertainment and hospitality.

None. Because “Bale didn’t sign for us” isn’t a valid reason for a refund.

Sadly that's modern football. Fans chucking toys out of prams for no million pound signings. Demanding refunds on away games if we lose ffs. It all makes me cringe. I've always looked at it if your a fan that's it irrelevant of who's on the pitch or whats been spent aslong as the 11 players playing give there all, its the same as the big games people turn up for bigger teams only but we all differ :bluescarf:

Ive just renewed my season ticket with my teenage son for the first time in a couple of years. Nothing to do with Bale (and I would be surprised if he signed for us anyway). I’ve had a few health issues but am really excited to be going back next season no matter who is in the squad and whether it’s good or bad. Perfect way to spend time with my son win, lose or draw. Plus he turns 18 next season so I can have a pre-match pint with him.
