Only a yo yo championship level player but for some reason premier league clubs lower end kept on signing him even though generally he failed every time. Cant afford him probably..

If we’re looking for a bit of experience to back up some young loan signings then Gray fits the bill for me.
He’d still do a decent job at this level in my opinion. Can’t imagine we could afford him though.

Proven in the championship and did well in a very poor QPR side this season.
Not one for the Premier League, but given our overwhelmingly inexperienced front line, for a free, he would be a good signing.
Looking at twitter, city fans are just moaners... complain if we sign a 30 year old with a proven record in the championship and complain if we sign a younger player from a lower division.
We haven't got money to spend on transfer fees and the only money we have is that freed up by releasing players on large wages. So working within those parameters, we have very limited options and 'proven' young striker at championship level is well beyond our means.

Be a good signing for us in fact probably for any side in championship !

No brainer. But don't think he would take 15k (max) a week

Totally agree. Service is the key.

A 100% improvement on Collins and would bring some experience into our attack and goals given the service but I doubt he would play for our budget.

Agree on all that mate, including the bit about wages but I do think that we have to wonder if he’d get any more anywhere else.
