Seems like there's some definite developments as this is the first time Rambo has been mentioned by the press. Maybe the journo has just been reading this forum (which they all do). All the other info is out there.

Difficult to believe the two are not linked in some way and with the current regime's aversity to financial risk
Another question, if this all goes through, is what about the manager, who is on a relatively low-cost one year contract?
Hopefully, he gets a chance but a new regime may think differently...

Let’s be honest season tickets sales are poor, Bale will bring the kids to ask their dads to buy tickets and will also increase other season ticket sales. He will only play the odd occasions but the marketing and his influence would be invaluable. Ramsey would play more .
