Giggs has been on leave from his post since November 2020 and faces a domestic violence trial in Manchester on August 8.
The 48-year-old former Manchester United star is accused of controlling and coercive behaviour against his former girlfriend Kate Greville between August 2017 and November 2020.
Giggs is also accused of assaulting Ms Greville, causing her actual bodily harm, and of the common assault of her younger sister, Emma Greville, at his home in Worsley, Greater Manchester, on November 1, 2020.
Giggs has denied the allegations and pleaded not guilty to all charges.
Robert Page has led Wales to their first World Cup in 64 years in Giggs' absence. Page will be in charge in Qatar with Giggs deciding to stand down.
It is understood that Giggs did not want his situation to act as a distraction as Wales prepare for their first appearance in a World Cup finals since 1958.
Giggs, who was appointed Wales manager in January 2018, decided to stand down after Wales beat Ukraine in their World Cup play-off final in Cardiff two weeks ago.
The Football Association of Wales declined to comment when contacted by Sky Sports News.

Ryan Giggs has resigned as Wales manager "with immediate effect".
The former Manchester United winger, 48, stepped away from his role in November 2020 after being arrested.
Giggs was later charged with using controlling behaviour and assaulting his ex-girlfriend, charges he has denied.
Robert Page took over as interim Wales boss in Giggs' absence, leading them to a first World Cup finals since 1958.
In a statement, Giggs said: "After much consideration, I am standing down from my position as manager of the Wales men's national team with immediate effect.
"It has been an honour and a privilege to manage my country, but it is only right that the Wales FA, the coaching staff and the players prepare for the tournament with certainty, clarification and without speculation around the position of their head coach."
The Football Association of Wales released its own statement following Giggs' announcement.
"The FAW places on record its gratitude to Ryan Giggs for his tenure as manager of the Cymru men's national team and appreciates the decision he has taken, which is in the best interests of Welsh football," it read.
"The full focus of the FAW and the Cymru men's national team is on the Fifa World Cup in Qatar later this year."

So his £400k a year contract was due to end this summer anyway. For me, he’s just sat back, taken the Salary and hands his notice in before it’s announced the contract isn’t going to be renewed. At least the £609k he’s been paid since Page has taken over will help with solicitor costs I suppose.

Agree, Giggs has pre-emptex the inevitable and avoided the ignomy of being shown the rear exit...
I guess it works nicely for all involved...

Former Wales captain Ashley Williams says interim Wales manager Rob Page deserves the job on a long-term basis.
Ryan Giggs, who stepped away from the Wales manager role in November 2020 facing charges he denies of using controlling behaviour and assaulting his ex-girlfriend, resigned on Monday.
Williams has warned Wales will lose Page to a club side if they do not move swiftly to appoint him permanently.
"I think Rob has done an excellent job," Williams told BBC Sport Wales.
"He should be rewarded. He definitely deserves a contract, no matter what happens at the World Cup. He is the man who spearheaded it and got us there.
"It shouldn't depend on how we do at the World Cup. He's done well for a long time."
Page has been Wales' interim boss since Giggs' arrest and subsequent charges, with the former Northampton and Port Vale boss leading Wales to a first World Cup appearance in 64 years.
