Updated:

CCFC Chairman Dalman: City Board are saying they put a package together to Bales agent and it’s now up to him and Bale.
Gareth Bale has still to sit down with Steve Morison or anyone from Cardiff City.

Bales Agent says he is still looking at other offers.

The reports put out by the Media were totally inaccurate and well exaggerated.

Gareth Bale went down the Vale to see an FAW official.

Steve Morison accidentally bumped in to Gareth Bale and they had No more than a 2min chat.

There was Nothing pre-arranged and No discussions on Bales future.

Steve Morison and Bale have never had a proper chat yet.

Yes the other meeting took place between Bales agent and Dalman, Bales agent has gone back and since spoken to Bale.

We are No further down the line and all this media speculation of a done deal etc is way way of the mark.

It is true We will all know Bales future in the coming days .

Annis! Are you saying all this hysteria about the meeting was a waste of time and the meeting with his agent and dalman was the opening round of discussions with tan getting involved because there was a sticking point with deal that Dalman got wrong?

Correct:

Allan it was totally exaggerated once again by our local media as there was NO arranged meeting between the 2, they’ve never had a meeting yet.

But there was a meeting with the agent and Dalman.

That’s why for me, how can we be close to signing Bale when they’ve not had discussions? ?

Plus the Agent is keeping an open mind.

It did state in the original Wales Online article that the reason he was down the Vale was to meet with FAW people. But they’ve just lit the wild fire by mentioning he spoke to Morison, whilst it’s not inaccurate people jumped on it to make it more of a news story than it actually was.

Thats debatable but people are quick to apportion blame without knowing full facts.... have found over the years that if something goes wrong at club it's always citys fault unless there's evidence to the contrary...

They totally exaggerated and made out it was a meeting arranged with Bale and Morison.
It was just a passing by hello, not much more.

They sensationalised it and have been doing this for months now, not fair to the fans.

Not surprised Tan is getting involved. He knows having Gareth Bale at the club will boost it's reputation over the world.

I said yesterday that I thought Tan would get more involved to ensure the deal went through.

A big couple of days now, but more confident than I was yesterday.

Everyone knows if it was left to Dalman then it wouldn't happen, because of his greed.

Thanks Annis let’s hope he can push this over the line and then get rid of that muppet Dalman - as much use as a chocolate teapot.

The last few days just shows how important that facts and evidence are, rather than relying on heresy, rumour and speculation.

Ned it was said yesterday agent was playing hardball over a deal Could it be intransigence by both parties ? But common sense prevails and the main man "tan" gets involved as he knows the importance to himself and club that GB signs . :old:

Been reported this am that Cardiff offered exactly what was wanted. His agent didn't push back at all.
And they are now speaking to the club in the US to weigh up all options.
Sounds good too me.

OK! First and foremost if Bale went to the Vale camp yesterday and it was well publicised and no meeting took place between himself and the board/manager, why didn't it?? It's public knowledge Bales is away on holiday until the 16th and pre season training has already begun.

MLS club odds on favourite now. Don’t think he’s coming personally. If we have met demands then there’s nobody at fault, just got to respect Bales choice.

We are both on the same odds. Which makes sense if it's been stated its between two options. No point in paying out money.

Surely that means a move to us was never on the cards. So it was all fabricated nonsense that we were told. I don’t understand people annoyed with Bale about it, he never once said he was going to join us. It would have been amazing if he did but it was never going to happen unfortunately.

Takes the piss the more I think about it. He knew how much Cardiff fans wanted him here so does a photo shoot for L.A at our training ground. Could of done it in his garden or something. I know it's Wales base also but that's harsh. That hurts.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was a medical for L.A plus photo shoot. Are Wales online journalists out to wind us up and rock the boat or something?
