If he is still part owner maybe - just maybe -there is more to this deal than meets the eye and he will immediately be loaned out to us until the World Cup before going to the States to end his career. Personally i wouldn't want that.

Wez, I can't see anything that says this (sale of remaining shares) occurred; so it seems yoyr statement he is still involved may be correct...

I don't think it overly means he (Tan) was an influence though; there are bigger financial players at that club...
