Sol Bamba wanted by Swindon Town
Cardiff City fans' favourite Sol Bamba is wanted by League Two outfit Swindon Town.
Bamba is a free agent after leaving Middlesbrough at the end of last season, with a number of clubs having registered an interest in his services in recent months. Blackpool, Charlton Athletic and Preston North End all having sounded out the ex-Ivory Coast international.
However Swindon have tabled what is thought to be a very solid offer to the 37-year-old, which includes a role as a player/coach, something which is appealing to Bamba given his well-documented desire to move to the dugout once his playing career ends.
But it's by no means a foregone conclusion just yet, with Bamba understood to have at least one other offer on the table which he is seriously considering. He is taking time to consider his next move, however Swindon is certainly not out of the question as things stand.
