Romaine Sawyers is thinking over the offer City have made to him.
Steve Morison feels Sawyer will join the Bluebirds after the midfielder came to Cardiff for talks last week.
Romaine Sawyers who is 31 years old in a couple of months and was released by WBA this Summer after being sent out on loan to Stoke City last season where he made 25 appearances.
West Brom midfielder Romaine Sawyers has left the club after they decided not to activate their one-year contract option, Steve Madeley reports.
Cardiff are in serious talks with Sawyer and a contract has been offered to the midfielder.

Hopefully he's still hungry and wants to do a good job, Morison knows a player

Let's hope we can get this one over the line and then get some strikers in looking forward to getting back in the ccs for the first game

I think we all know that we need a mix of experience and youngsters.
The squad is looking much more balanced now already and if this signing comes off we have 3 proven Championship midfielders in Wintle, Sawyers and Rinhomota as well as backup of Ralls, Adams, Colwill (if he's play there) and King.
That's a pretty strong midfield group for a long season.

Excellent signing.
On the face of it I would say that the midfield 3 of Wintle, Sawyer and Rinomhota are as good as we've had for a good few seasons. There's a very nice balance there.
I though Adams was going to be a first choice but he'll have to go some to get in before those three
