James Collins will now leave on a free

League 1 club Derby are favourites to sign Cardiff striker James Collins, who will be allowed to leave on a free this summer.

This tells me that a new striker is close to signing as otherwise he couldn't let Collins go as even a poor striker is better than no striker.

Agree with you, had he banged in half of those chances he would have been our top scorer by a long way. Very disappointing overall.
