Derby Signings

Wed Jul 06, 2022 12:34 pm

After nearly going out of business and been given a shit load more time than any other club to find a buyer, they’ve now signed Hourihane, McGoldrick, James Chester and possibly James Collins. Now I don’t think they’ll be on very low wages as they could easily get teams in the championship. The clubs corrupt.

Their new owner lent them the money to sign players..... the whole situation around them stinks of favoritism

Administration is a totally different animal for small clubs as oppossed to perceived large clubs.

Clubs like Bury and Macclesfield were legitimately in trouble and administration was the only way out for them. However, in the end they had so little interest in their fate that they were liquidated.

Now look at large clubs that go into admistration for the purposes of wiping debt. The clubs are still really going concerns. They have been run purely to get success at any cost and when it fails they go into administration near enough KNOWING there will be a buyer.

They also know that they have large fanbases that will come forward. Once debt is gone the clubs will have large income again.

Leicester massively benefitted and weren't even docked points. At least Derby had the deduction that got them relegated but already their fans are playing he "massive club in a tiny league" card.

They also will have cash to spend from ticket sales because they have not fully paid their creditors.
