Result aside, even if we ended up losing today I saw very promising signs of a great season ahead.
Morison has had little to no budget this transfer window and it looks like he’s brought in some very capable players at this level. Some of the football played today was stuff we haven’t seen in years.
I don’t want to get ahead of myself, classic first game syndrome. But IMO if we manage to get an experienced CF through the door, it could be a season to remember. Some brilliant debuts out there. Fingers crossed for a good one and hats off to Morison and his team!
