Great work by Romeo. Has a one-two with Ojo on the right and bursts upfield. He plays in Watters, who sends a cross in towards O'Dowda, but it's cut out.

O'Dowda does excellently there, winning a free-kick from Guinness-Walker deep in Reading's half.

:bluebird: CITY GOAL!!!!

1 - 0 Bluebirds

LATEST SCORE: READING 0 - 1 CARDIFF CITY
Bluebird scorer: Callum O'Dowda (4 mins)
"Recreational offence". In short, if you're the kind of person who spends valuable time looking to be offended, it's offensive.

Reading just look to take the sting out of the game after a flying start from Cardiff. There's a composure about the visitors so far, though.

Lumley hoofs a ball forward and a combination of Kipre and Collins manage to head clear as Ince and Long look to capitalise.

Game was preceded with the old knee take but noticably 2 x Reading players did not partake

The game kicked off with the Bkuebirds pressing hard and it paid dividends with Callum O'Dowda's first and opening goal from a grwat move

It's been alk Bluebird since and we are looking both positive in approach and able to carry out the manager's plan(s) :ayatollah:

What a break from Cardiff!

Ojo picks it up inside his own half and runs 50 yards up the pitch. Watters drags a defender with a diagonal run and Ojo slides in O'Dowda. The goalscorer gets it out of his feet and smacks one low and across goal, but Lumley gets down smartly to save.

A handball gives Reading a free kick from the left of tge penalty area (6 yard box) but it's sent in long and curling and over the by-line for a Bluebird goal kick

Wintle pings a lovely ball out to Romeo before the full-back hits a low cross in search of his strikers. Reading have to put it out for a corner.

It comes to nothing. A Reading man commits a foul in City's penalty area and it's a free-kick the other way.

PENALTY READING!

Nelson pulls down Ince, who was clean through. Calls for a red, but it's just a yellow.
