Ikpeazu completes Turkey move
Former Cardiff City loanee Uche Ikpeazu has left the Championship for Turkish side Konyaspor.
The 27-year-old will join the club on a permanent basis, and leaves Middlesbrough after making 22 appearances for the club, netting three goals.
Ikpeazu joined the Turkish club for £500,000, the Bluebirds showed interest and we’re will to take him on without a fee.
He spent the second half of last season loan with the Bluebirds, becoming something of a cult hero with the Canton End faithful after bagging three goals in 13 appearances.
However, Chris Wilder has clearly decided to explore other options, bringing in duo Marcus Forss and Matthew Hoppe, and is expected to add further depth to his stock of forwards before the end of the window.
