Mark Harris on criticism:

"I wouldn’t say I go to find them, but if you see it on social media, the odd comment, it doesn’t help but it gives me more motivation to show I can do it, because that’s my job, to score goals for this football club."

“It was bugging me , as I am a striker and paid to score goals.”

“ The new style helps me, the first half on Tuesday was a prime example of that.”

“ All three goals were very good goals. If we can keep playing like the first half, we can keep that momentum going now and use that first half to move forward.”

Whatever he says Annis - He isn't a championship goal scorer - He reminds me of Paul Wheeler many moons ago - Great engine but no finishing product

Well I hope so for us and him, we’ve been waiting nearly 6 years.

That would be great but it hasn't happened in what 5 years? Still a headless chicken in my book & we all know 1 goal doesn't change anything but again I would love it if he suddenly became the next Jamie Vardy.

The next Jamie Vardy definitely no chance although we’d all love it but I certainly can’t agree with the headless chicken metaphor.

He makes decent runs and makes things happen to a much greater extent than Watters for example.

He needs to improve for sure but your way out calling him that IMO.

His goal record isn't good enough but I must say he hasn't had a bad game so far this season.

His work rate is excellent and runs the channels well. The perfect partner for a more natural finisher imo.

I remember we won 4 in a row under Harris with him and Kieffer up front, allowing Kieffer to do what he does best and Harris do the donkey work.

Positive signs on Tuesday with him and Robinson up front, they linked well in the 1st half and I expect them to start again tomorrow.

For me he is a much better option than Watters. Watters doesn't run and can't finish.

The next Neil Harris would be ok. 140 career goals.
