It takes Wales to four points after the first two games in the group, which Rob Page will be happy with.

Wales' next games are in June when they play Armenia at home and Turkey away.

Ireland beat Latvia 3-2 in a friendly last week.

Ireland dominated. All the possession and play, but Latvia still managed 2 goals. Not sure if this is a worry or a reflection of how poor Ireland's defence is?!

The Welsh FA have done really well to pretty much sell out a post-Bale qualifier with Latvia. A Wales game is an event these days, like the rugby internationals always have been, so hopefully the huge peaks and troughs in attendances based on form are now a thing of the past

A shame there are no afternoon games like the rugby. Great to get a decent crowd on a midweek however

Agree with this. It is becoming something people want to be part of more than the game itself, ( but with less drunkenness etc than the rugby).
There are people going tonight who have never been before, which is fantastic considering it is Latvia (not England, Germany, Spain ) on a wet cold Tuesday night. Long may it continue and the game and support keep growing.

Are times changing I wonder?
Safer from drunken behaviour at an international football match rather than rugby.

We need to move the ball quicker in their half. It's too slow. And give it to Dan James and tell him to run at his marker, he's doing him for pace almost everytime.
Also, who dressed Gareth bale tonight? I think he got dressed in the dark ffs
