MAN OF THE MATCH (V SWANS)

Vote your Man of the Match versus the Swans...

Jaden Philogene-Bidace for me today. He ran his proverbial nuts off, scored a great goal and was absolutely spent by the time he was subbed... ;) :ayatollah:

Philogene by a country mile yet again.

Afraid to say for the first time I think Sabri got it wrong keeping him out wide, especially when he scored running from the middle.

Would’ve liked to have seen Romeo come on earlier and Philogene at 10

Philogene

O'Dowda > Ralls > Sawyers killed him as an asset in the 2nd half as we were so late to the 2nd ball and never won a tackle when Ralls went to left back we lost the middle of the park

How Ojo lasted so long is beyond, Rubes would have been a close second but at least got the assist.

Not a fan of our keeper either.

Squeaky bum time, thats for sure

The ref, all he needed was a white shirt. “Wanker of the week” :banghead:

Philogene is the obvious choice.

Wintle did alright as well.

100% you are wrong, as you cannot say 'no one' had a decent game with Philogene (what a goal...!) and Wintle being the pick of the bunch...

But what's worse is you calling the team a bunch of (quote) "twats"

Far from it, despite the loss...

I don't know if some people actually watch the games Chris, or whether they make a) knee jerk reactions or b) judge things on a scoreline.

As you said, Philogene had a great game and scored a brilliant goal.

I thought Wintle went "Robbie Savage" in the last quarter, he ran around like a demented prairie dog and left huge spaces that the pedestrian Sawyers couldn't cover

100% effort, guts and leadership, I think this hurts him but we lost all shape in the second half

McGuiness has been excellent since his return, but this game got to him, again another lad who plays with a bit of heart and passion

They tried, but we are not very good

Thoughts that I agree with here Llan. Also, as one of our better players today, I thought Rhinomota was extremely lucky to be substituted. He did the job that was clearly asked of him marking the potentially dangerous N’champ, then when told to leave him, it coincided with our best spell in the game.

I’ve not rated Wintle since Morison left. Morison had him sitting and cleaning up ahead of the defence, he’s looked absolutely clueless since.

Brilliantly beat 2-3 players with his quick feet. Powerful shot. Not his fault if the keeper fluffed it. Great goal.

Philogene. Head and shoulders above all else. Some player. O'Dowda bad a good first half.

Special mention to Ojo. How he's starting is a mystery. His highlight reel for us would be a quick watch. It's like he's playing a 3/4 speed to the rest of the planet.

Ned, sadly Harry is a prime example of such posters...

Philogene must be edging towards our 'Player of the Season'

There was certainly no lack of effort from our guys but as I've said repeatedly, some of ours are wholly guided by results

I honestly believe had our first goal been an equaliser, we could well have gone on to win the game, as the Jacks were on the back foot for the rest of the first half and we played as we should have started, i.e. spoiling their 'tipoy tappy' passing gamr and their blatant policy of trying to get reactions from our players. The way tgey surrounded Cedric Kipre after he challenged their keeper in the early moments was truly designed as such...

There you go again; just can't control yourself...!

I find little you write 'jocular', Harry and I'm not the only one...

This started as a 'Man of the Match' thread, not a 'bitching at the players' thread. That's been done elsewhere and several were deserving of the accolade

You're not a youngster, so rather than running to others for support, argue your point (where you can) and get a backbone...!
