Tan's reign v the jacks

Sun Apr 02, 2023 9:34 am

In May, Tan will have been at the helm for 13 years. This is our record against the jacks under his reign.

P12 W3 L8 D1 GF5 GA19 Pts10

This includes the first ever double in the history of the South Wales derby which went to Swansea which has now been repeated making it back to back doubles. Over those 4 games we have conceded 12 and scored 2. This is our worst form in any 12 game period in the history of this fixture.

During these 13 years Tan has employed 10 managers and 4 caretaker managers.

Every home game since the CCS opened we have had over 25,000 attend this fixture (except during covid) which shows what this game means to us fans. We show up, the players don’t.

Our club is on its arse and clearly doesn’t care about this fixture.

TAN OUT!

One thing i will credit Tan for .... keeping ticket prices reasonable. He's also spent a good bit of cash and had his fingers burnt with dodgey agents, shall we say. Still can't forgive him for the whole rebrand effort though.

Yes ticket prices for both home and away fans at CCS are very reasonable. Tan has been badly advised on many things over the years but for me this shows his lack of knowledge to run a professional football club.
I will never forgive him for the rebrand either.

Lack of Knowledge being the operative words here. His venture into the football world has been a massive failure and he needs to sell up and get out of it.

Have to agree.. that’s an appalling record of managerial appointments.

I understand your thinking but I think the problems lie deeper and have seeped through the club and have done for years.

The problems do lie deeper, so deep in fact that they are now firmly entrenched right through to the heart and soul of Cardiff City FC..... The culture at our club is rotten to the core... All thanks to Vincent Tan.

There's a total lack of leadership, right from the very top to bottom. A rudderless vessel heading only in one direction.

Our club once had belief, desire, pride, and passion.... not any more. Were a shambles, on and off the pitch, thanks to one man.

TAN OUT, and take your cronies with you!

Unlucky this year, Robinson cared too much and fell for their niggling tackles and moaning to the ref, and we lost on Saturday to a last-minute goal, they had one more shot than us.

Last year was very embarrassing, this year is more of a case of bad luck, we'll beat them next year, and our celebrations will be all the more enjoyable.

Remind me who won the first South Wales derby in the EPL ?
