Wish I had that optimism. On paper perhaps. It all depends who is fit. We need Robinson and Etete back. NG went off yesterday too. It is the proverbial six pointer. Lose it and I think we are down regardless of points still to play for. 1 v 1 is my prediction with Huddersfield also drawing at Watford we'll cling to 21st a bit longer.

Agree about Robinson, might be too soon for him though.

I cannot see a win here despite them been lower we have to many players missing o'dowda Etete robinson poss NG plus the fact its there cup final on home soil
they know there down if they loose its upto lamouchi to instill how much this win will mean
we are running out of winable games
and i hope we do but just think they will be up for it more than us sadly.

Same knob refereeing as let Madine off last time for the preplanned stamp on Ng.

Robinson out is a big blow, could make all the difference

I think we will batter them this time and convincingly, unless of course we let a goal in the first 2 minutes and then they just put 10 in defence

Re: TEAM NEWS: " BLACKPOOL v CARDIFF CITY " MATCH THREAD

Thu Apr 06, 2023 11:22 am

Blackpool got 7 or 8 injuries as well but i dunno what to think about us, defending was shocking against Swansea and if we let a goal in first Blackpool will have 10 men behind the ball all game

Needs to start with Davies and Kaba. Please not Ojo. He is not a striker. Davies looked sharp for the U21 this week.

Same ref as last game Vs them... The one that was told madine was gonna stamp him... And he did. No consequence.

Is it even right having the same guy ref the same fixture twice? Let alone when he's been a shit house?!

Re: TEAM NEWS: " BLACKPOOL v CARDIFF CITY " MATCH THREAD

This really is the proverbial must-win 6 pointer for us and Blackpool. Because of our position, they see if the same way on their forum. Their view is if MM sets up defensively, we will win and I would agree with that, as we've seen when he managed us after the initial great run. But he's wiley and his game plan may not be that simple. Also think that we don't like him for some reason, personally I don't hear that from anyone, it just didn't work out after a positive start, I don't mind the bloke at all.

I hope someone has been in the refs ear about Madine and reminded him of the NG stamping and stone wall red, even their fans say he's a liability, so I hope he's targeted to wind up.

One thinks the jerks loss has shocked us but the manner of the loss I believe will motivate us with a point to prove. It's also been noticed how we commanded the Rotherham game which really should have been a win.

I'm not there tomorrow but safe travels to our always amazing away support, have a top day and spur the boys on for 3 points.

Good post :ayatollah:

I don't recall many (save the usual suspects) 'hating' McCarthy and I believe the referee will be a liability for both sides. Our performance v Rotherham and the battling back (until 99 mins) v the Jacks should give us both hope and confidence. This is not a game we can afford to lose and we need to get at Blackpool from the start...

Just short of 2k travelling up on this sunny Good Friday and they will be loud and proud for the whole 90 mins plus add-ons... :ayatollah:
