' HUGE APOLOGIES FOR THE DOWNTIME'

Apologies for the longer than expected downtime.

We had planned for a database and software upgrade which should have taken 2 hours.

Unfortunately an initial issue with the database manager slowed things down and pushed us back, then the software itself ran into errors as we upgraded, and finally the fallback of restoring the backup files also failed on us which added 12 hours to the process.

Sorry for the inconvenience, and we'll try our best to make sure it doesn't happen again!

I agree, it's a good site. Far better than the other board which i find slow and clunky to use.

Thanks Owain for all you do on this site, very rarely does it run into problems and is so fast compared to many. When the techno Gods are against you there is little you can do!

Pray for me, today is the day I try and set up an industrial router wifi on my narrowboat, I have zilch tech knowledge........scared just thinking about it!
