If Cooper becomes available would you have him as manager with Alan Tate as his assistant?

Ah his father is, i knew there was a link. I really rate Cooper as a manager and his availability could coincide with a vacancy at the CCS. I just couldn't have a former Jack managing us, not unless he came out and said he was really a Cardiff fan lol

Oh I forgot we really are in a position to be fussy !!!!
We have had Jack players so what's the difference? Perhaps they should have to stand in the centre circle and bite the head off a swan to show their allegiance. LMFHAO.

we need a complete reset, but the problem is, we have had several in the past 2 years. would fans accept a 2 year mid table job while someone like cooper tries implement a philosophy and style of play, Morison was supposed to do that for us, the club allowed him to spend £1.5m on a striker, and then sacked him about a week later

Sabri is doing wonders with this squad, why change anything?

It won't happen this season. His owner knows what he has done for that club and has faith in him...

From a non-partisan view, personally, I believe Forest will survive and Steve Cooper will thrive from the experience

I knew his dad Keith, in my younger days, when he part of the Pontypridd RA under the late Jack Flye (European Cup semi-final official) before his rise to the Premier League list. A lot of time for Bluebird Keith, on our books prior to a career ending injury, and I know his son Steve wi have been brought up the right way

I'd certainly have him (Steve) here at some point... :ayatollah: :bluescarf:

Can't see them sacking him, they have given him this long and sacking him this late won't really help them (strange how Chelsea and Leicester chose to sack their managers this late on).

He also has the full support of their fans, they know they wouldn't even be there without him.

Even if we were to leave, we already have a manager. Also most managers tend to like to take some time off when they leave a club. For example, Potter apparently turned down approach from Leicester as he wants to take some time off.

Here living in the bowels of Forest/Derby land the forest fans are as none optomistic as us staying up now. Besides Cooper wont come here with Vincent penny pinching Tan in charge. That's why he left Swansea.
