Cardiff City manager Sabri Lamouchi:
Lamouchi is absolutely positive about the quality of the squad.
On Connor Wickham: “First of all it was absolutely stupid. Even if it is his birthday after the derby. To put this on Instagram… I spoke with him. He was absolutely devastated and sorry to the players and the fans.”
On the derby loss: “I try to come back in training with positivity. We were 2-0 down and came back in the game and created a lot in the second half. The scenario was so cruel.”
On Blackpool: “It’s three points, but I can understand the importance of the game. With a positive result, it would be fantastic for us.”
On the run-in and Reading’s point deduction: “In this battle for safety, it will be between five or six teams. So it will be a big battle until the end.”
“My squad is big and I am more than happy with it.”
