The Opposition's Manager - Tony Mowbray

Experienced manager Mowbray was appointed Black Cats manager in August.

Amongst many managerial roles he's had, he was Blackburn manager until last season - a role he had held since 2017.

Opposition Dangerous Players

Alex Pritchard is a player I rate highly and he has seven goal involvements in the league this season.

Jack Clarke and Patrick Roberts are also having strong seasons.

cracking game, that would have drained them :D , they'll know they won't be able to claw back 6 points over 6 games with 4 clubs above them

Agree, if they'd have won then they'd still have had an outside chance of the top six. Can't see that happening now.

Like you say, you'd hope a game like that will have made them knackered as well. Can also assume they'll only have one day of rest and then have to fly over on Sunday, which will have a physical impact also.

Add to that they finished their game two hours after we finished ours, so there's a few things to our advantage.

Lamouchi / Sunderland injury update:

Sabri Lamouchi is hopeful Kion Etete will be available for Cardiff's clash with Sunderland on Easter Monday. The striker missed out on the trip to Blackpool and has missed the last two matches now due to a hamstring injury.

But when asked if he thought Etete might be available for selection next time out, Lamouchi said: "Yes. The medical department are doing the best to give me Kion available for Monday. So we will check in [on Saturday] and the day after tomorrow [Sunday] and we will see. We are short in numbers, but the quality, attitude and mentality, I love to see our players fight like that."

Callum O'Dowda still remains a doubt, though. Joe Ralls had to fill in at left wing-back, which he did so brilliantly, against Blackpool, and may have to on Monday, too.

"I will check him [on Saturday]," Lamouchi said of the Irishman. "I hope so. With a lot of games to play, we have to think about some players and some situations and problems."

Not a game I'd start with Sawyers. This lot are young and quick, I'd only have 2 CM in Wintle and Rinomhota, Romeo and O'Dowda (hopefull) as wingbacks with Wickham & Saba up top and Philogene as the 10.

I would go uber direct, crosses and long balls everywhere

What is the latest team news?

Sabri Lamouchi is hopeful Kion Etete will be available, after the striker missed out on the trip to Blackpool due to a hamstring injury.

Callum O'Dowda still remains a doubt, though, meaning Joe Ralls may have to fill in at left wing-back once more.

Meanwhile, Tony Mowbray will be without Dan Ballard for the trip to south Wales after he suffered a setback in his recovery from a hamstring injury.

A win today and things will be looking up although I'm more concerned about other results below us more than anything as we are not consistent at all but the table does not lie. :bluescarf:

A loss today and Blackpool win will mean nothing.

I'll be watching the Reading and QPR games.
