" The team needs us Monday "

Fri Apr 07, 2023 10:20 pm

Big win today :bluebird:

But it's not over. We're still only a point above the drop. Huddersfield are reignited lately. We can't rely on Reading & QPR to carry on their bad form.

So the team needs us to support them for the three home games remaining.

I'll be at all of them, starting with Sunderland on Monday.

Don't forget under 16s attending with an adult can go for £1.

So let's support the Bluebirds for another crucial game :ayatollah: :bluebird:

And Ned with Sunderland bringing 2,500 fans, Lamouchi needs at least 20,000 home fans :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

Easter Bank Holiday Monday 'Kids for a Quid', decent weather forecast and 'something' on the game...

Years ago, we always had something to play for in the end of season games no matter if we were at the top or (mainly) bottom and the 'backing' of our supporters was always a factor in raising the team's performance when it really mattered...

Get down there, if you can... :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

Firstly, great news that your wife is improving, Monty...

Secondly, sadly you are correct that there are a certain element who only turn up for the 'Jacks' or other (so called) high profile games and the guy you talk about is pretty much on par with what we encountered last weekend...

Pig ignorant in many cases with no thought or respect for those 'regulars' around them trying to watch the actual football

But I still hope there is a decent crowd on Easter Monday, as this team deserve it after Good Friday... :ayatollah:

without trying to sound like an old fart in front of us at the derby were some lads who hadn’t been all season standing all game (not the canton) and giving it the big one to those lesser able bodied who were asking them to sit down. wouldn’t be as bad if they were people there week in week out and up for the derby game.

wonder if they’ll be there for the sunderland game, something tells me no

Agree with you pal, loads Infront of us that I'd never seen before. Kids had to stand on seats to see in the end.
It'd be nice to have a fuller stadium more often if it was with fans that it actually meant something too. Pissed me off listening to them all moaning, like they'd never watched us before and didn't know what to expect.
Ah well, rant over. We'll be back tomorrow with the usual 14k that care

I agree with you both and I was being my usual polite self by not mentioning the guy who stood up next to me blocking the view of those along the row who actually missed the first goal (some might say that wasn't a bad thing :laughing6: ) at which point I asked "Is there any chance you might sit down at some point, so the regulars can see some of the game?"

"You only had to ask!" came the reply, to which my response was, "You only had to think!"

It really is frustrating (we're at tge front) but I'm not one to hold back once it affects me or mine...
